For 16 days of Activism the SAJBD chose action 💜✊
Our team joined hands with TEARS Foundation to pack comfort bags for boys and girls who have experienced rape or abuse. The initiative aims to not only spread awareness about GBV but also to make a meaningful difference to those suffering.
16 Days of Activism is powerful reminder of the painful reality so many women, children, and vulnerable people face daily in South Africa. Gender-based violence is not something “out there”, it affects families, friends, and people we know and care about.
As a community, we cannot stay silent. Our values call on us to stand up, support those who are hurting, and speak out against violence in all its forms.
Together let’s stand up, speak out and work together to end GBV.
