Social Media guru Avi Mayer to visit SA

Starting next week, we will have the privilege of hosting Avi Mayer, International Spokesperson for the Jewish Agency and world-renowned social media expert, for a week-long visit, during which time he will travel to all the major centres. Together with other Jewish organisations, we have been involved in putting together his programme whilst in the country. Mr Mayer has been particularly successful in using the social media as a positive, constructive platform through which to disseminate views and information on Israel. His insights will certainly be of value to us, given how much of our attention today is necessarily bound up with using, monitoring and, where necessary, taking action concerning what appears in the social media.
