Our comment regarding statements by Julius Malema

Our comment regarding statements by Julius Malema in Pretoria on 24 October.

Mr Malema prides himself on causing division among fellow South Africans, using his trademark hateful rhetoric. He is a man full of hate.

Julius Malema has been remarkably quiet for the past 2 weeks but chose now to associate freedom fighters with rape, murder of babies and kidnapping. We differ with this interpretation as we have never seen any evidence to suggest that such tactics were used by South African freedom fighters.

Fortunately we have laws locally and internationally that prohibit incitement and threats to violence. We will keep all options open.

DIRCO supports terror regime once again

South Africa’s expression of concern and condolences for the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran serves once again to show their decision to always side with dictators, terror organisations and human-rights abusers. All these dictators have a strong history of oppressing their own people and exporting terror.
