Memorial of Mosiuoa Lekota

Today the SAJBD attended the Regina Mundi Church for the memorial of Mosiuoa Lekota — a courageous freedom fighter, statesman and devoted public servant. Over the years, many leaders have come and gone, and political winds have shifted. Yet throughout these changes, Mr Lekota remained a consistent and loyal friend to the Jewish community.
He stood with us in times of celebration, but perhaps more meaningfully, he stood with us during times that were difficult and challenging. That loyalty, that moral courage, and that friendship will always be remembered and deeply treasured by the South African Jewish community.
May his memory be a blessing.זִכְרוֹנוֹ לִבְרָכָה
