South African Jewish women marched to Constitution Hill on International Women’s Day to highlight the sexual violence perpetrated by Hamas not only against Israeli women on Oct 7 but that is continuing against the hostages even today. Following on the release of the UN report confirming the gender-based violence committed by Hamas, SAJBD leadership handed over a memorandum to President Ramaphosa’s office calling for a condemnation of the sexual violence and pressure to release the hostages. #BringBackOurGirls #EndTheSilence
