​The SAJBD notes the attacks against Muslim community in Valhalla

The SAJBD notes with concern the unacceptable attacks against a Muslim community in Valhalla, Pretoria. In protesting against a Mosque that is to be built in the area, some of the Valhalla residents held up posters that were hateful and racist in nature. The SAJBD, both as an organisation, and as a member of the Hate Crimes Working Group, believes that there is no space for intolerance in South Africa. We call on all communities to show respect for the diversity that makes up our rainbow nation.
